We understand that rural tourism is synonymous of rest, fleeing the stress and routine own big cities and if we want to relax…this house could be the balsam renovator, because it has anything you need to put in to practice the rest. A good get-together with the heat, from the chimney in winter, a large courtyard totally independent for the enjoyment of children and not as children, with its barbecue and children’s area. A place in the dining room also for the littlest ones, library, many reading areas across the corridors of the house, etc…
For the more adventurous there are multiple options outside the house.
And because Malpica is in a rural environment, the walk through the
countryside
is a delight, with plenty of trails in the midst of trees and rangeland of
Montebajo. Passing the river Tajo for his tern, it is an ideal place to practice
fishing. In turn is one of the most quoted at national and international levels
for hunter lovers.
We have contact with an adventures company that organizes routes 4x4, horseback riding, kayaking declines in the Tajo, Paintball, rental of quads, bicycles, old carriages rides, archery etc…
In the summer the town has a large pool two minutes from the house with
a large garden and a bar where you can order lunch and dinner if
you want.
For food lovers, Malpica of Tajo is a land of excellent wines. On one side the
Bodegas Marques de Griñon; first paid wines to receive a denomination
of origin itself in the year 2003 – Domain of Valdepusa- in recognition
of the great work done over many years by the Marques de Griñon, in
terms of innovation and research, creating wines with grape varieties –Cabernet
Sauvignon Syrah, Petit Verdot- pioneer in Spain in those years, and that time,
the good and recognition of the public have put in the place they deserve,
which in not another in the elite of wine globally. Besides this farm, in what
is known as the fifth Chapel friar, developed an olive oil copyright proceeds
of coupage three varieties – Picual, Arbequina and Manzanilla- that deserves
the same treatment as the wines above.
On the side is the new project of the
Osborne Group, the largest vineyard
today from Spain and one of the larger farms in Europe in single
family property.
More than 1000 hectares of vines, which produce wines of excellent quality:
plural, Domain Malpica and Solaz with a various forms 25.000 m2 of warehouse,
the most modern facilities and technology in terms of treatment of soil moisture,
weather stations, harvesting grapes, bottling. Approaching visit is bound to
know this plants where they’ll let us see the caves, the process of developing
these wines, you can taste their wines and buy any of the many products marketed
by the group Osborne in his shop.
At the entrance of Malpica of Tajo, we will find “Oils Valseco” where
we can acquire great extra virgin olive oil that produce, first prize worthy
for “Great Selection 2005 of Castilla La mancha”
Two minutes from the house is the cradle,
canning factory artisans, where
we can feast with the plenty of products in a manner entirely handmade.
Wines and oils, preserved artisans first poultry eggs, marzipan craftsman…are
just a small sample of what is available in Malpica of the Tajo. There are
